July 2009: Istanbul Sailing Academy’s Şan overhauled
Yat Servis mechanical team performed a successful overhaul on the Volvo Penta MD 2030 B engine powering regatta sailing yacht Şan of Istanbul Sailing Academy.
The cylinder cover block was tested, wet cooled exhaust manifold was metaloc welded and the sea water heat exchanger was replaced. Injectors exhaust and inlet valves were inspected and adjusted. Battery charger was overhauled with repair kit including ball bearings.
The engine is up and ready for the long regattas.
